About Brian
Brian is a passionate, driven, and adaptable backcountry guide, instructor, and mountain safety specialist based out of Squamish, BC. Growing up in Western Canada, Brian has been exploring the local mountains for as long as he can remember, and knows the best of what the area has to offer.
With extensive experience as a climbing instructor, coach, and guide, Brian can offer tips to new and experienced climbers alike. While he loves tackling ambitious objectives and pushing his skills, Brian's favourite part of guiding is meeting new people and sharing the magic moments of connection, beauty, and self discovery that climbing entails.
Brian is also passionate about Mountain Safety, and works hard to provide solutions for a variety of operations such as film, industrial work, and exploration. With strong leadership, fitness, and interpersonal skills, Brian offers the ability to analyze diverse mountain hazards and implement effective and efficient risk management solutions.
As a certified Apprentice Alpine Guide with the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides (ACMG), a Practitioner Member of the Canadian Avalanche Association (CAA), an IRATA/SPRAT Level 1 Rope Access Technician, and a Wilderness First Responder, Brian has the professional skills to help you achieve your climbing goals safely.
